Why do people still go here? That is a question I ask myself a lot about when it comes to Ottawa Burger King. The Ottawa Burger King was opened in 1984, continuing a new and skyrocketing fast-food franchise.
From my first experience there to my most recent, I have had some pros, but many, and I mean many, cons. First, the item selection is not bad. The menu gives a customer like me a large number of options, which are all very pleasing to the eye. Along with that, the food is served quick, which is a pro, but that is also where I start my cons. While the food is served quickly, it does not mean that it is served fresh. In many cases, I have received soggy, wet or even too dry food, which just leaves me very displeased. Along with that, the facility itself does not seem to be kept as clean as it should be. Many times, I have walked in, and it has smelled very strong, in the worst possible way. Even the quality of the food is not that good compared to surrounding Burger King chains.
I am not the only one who has this opinion. “I am deeply saddened that this Burger King has become inedible due to poor quality and cleanliness.” senior Brayden Batistini said. “I hope someday things there will turn around so I can enjoy their flame broiled goodness once again.” senior Harlyn Hetelle stated. Many others have shown their discouragement with Ottawa Burger King, and yet the company has not done anything to change those opinions.
In the end I do not recommend dining out at the Ottawa Burger King due to all of the issues I have addressed, and what seems to be a very lackluster managerial team. Not to mention it is located next to their rivals McDonalds, who defeat them in every category. At the end of the day, my overall review of this chain is 2.5/10.
