Print making was new to me, and this is one of the pieces that can be interpreted with meaning in different ways with different eyes,” Leonn said.

Hard work payed off. Cooper plays her hardest at the LaSalle-Peru Tournament and wins second place. After playing since kindergarten, she has poured blood sweat and tears into her practices. “When I was wearing that medal, I was beaming ear to ear Because I was so happy,” Cooper said. Volleyball Senior Night

Words from the heart. Senior Ella Damron opens a letter from junior teammate Belle Markey after the Varsity Volleyball Senior Night game. “It was truly the sweetest message, and it made me realize how much I will miss being with her every day,” Damron said. Ottawa secured a win in the last home game against Rochelle in two sets, showing their talent and love for the sport. The team was also recognized for their winning record and placing third in the Conference.

Jacy Miller
Jacy Miller is a senior who has participated in many sports, including volleyball, basketball, track and field and softball. She is a third-year member of the Student Council and has hopes of running for student office this year. Jacy is in the Co-Op program at Ottawa and works at the Cantlin Law Firm. She as plans to attend IVCC next fall for two years, then transfer to University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. There she plans to get a degree in political science.
