Hard work payed off. Cooper plays her hardest at the LaSalle-Peru Tournament and wins second place. After playing since kindergarten, she has poured blood sweat and tears into her practices. “When I was wearing that medal, I was beaming ear to ear Because I was so happy,” Cooper said. The Inside Scoop from a Photojournalist

Focus your lens on this. Journalism and Yearbook students attended a journalism conference on September 20 at ISU. There were different sessions open to attend, and one was led by Photojournalist Tiffany Blanchette. Blanchette is a photo editor at the “Kankakee Daily.” Blanchette said, “There is always a different view to be documented.” Blanchette never knows exactly what her day holds for as a photojournalist. She could be covering something as small as a parade happening in her town or something as big as covering an event where the president is speaking.
