With only drums, a few guitars, some talented voices and a radiant stage presence, a student band named Exit 87 killed it on stage with their live performance. Band members include juniors Eli Jeppson, Dane Schmitz, Rylee Hogue and Landon Brandt
“They did a great job at hyping up the audience and closing up the student talent,” junior Rowan Weems said.
The seventh hour performances on Thursday were all exceptional and stood out. Another notable performance was by junior Maggie Wiegman with a solo that displayed her strong vocals and impressive vocal range. The song was not in English which seemingly makes it more complicated and even more impressive. Junior Andrew Wilson performed a witty and relatable original poem with a deep message about mental health.
Other performances included sophomore Miguel Santoy with a guitar solo, senior Daphne Northrop with a vocal solo, senior Bethany Polega with a vocal solo, and more.
