Look at these medalists freshman Daisy Rabadan, freshman Trinity Casas, sophomore Savannah Markey, senior Isabella Markey, sophomore Sophia Hart and sophomore Karsyn Moore. The girls had just beaten the school record and wanted to commemorate their winnings by taking a photo. Coach Daniel Hevaer said, “Savannah is the type of athlete any coach would want. She comes to practice with a smile on her face, demonstrates leadership even as an underclassman, and consistently works hard with a clear understanding of what needs to be done.”

Is that Mirrorball in the air? This is Styles newest album cover for his upcoming album “Kiss All the Time Disco Occasionally.” The album comes out on March 6, 2026. Styles inspiration came from the energy of an LCD Soundsystem. Styles said he wanted to make something that he felt was “made from the dance floor” in his words.

One Last Root Hog

What an ending. On Fri. October 24, 2025, seniors on the Ottawa Pirates Varsity Football team ran onto the field following the OTHS Superfan flag runners one final time as they played in the final game of their high school careers with a big 52-0 shutout victory over Granite City. While Granite City has not won a game in three years, it still meant the world to this football team. “It was an extremely emotional moment, all of us together one last time, I’ll remember it forever.” senior Evan Paris said.
