Hard work payed off. Cooper plays her hardest at the LaSalle-Peru Tournament and wins second place. After playing since kindergarten, she has poured blood sweat and tears into her practices. “When I was wearing that medal, I was beaming ear to ear Because I was so happy,” Cooper said. With each monthly edition, staff reports on all things OHS such as sports, student life, fine arts and everything in between. The Pirate Press is entering its 20th year of existence after keeping OHS up to date for going on 20 years. Pirate Press writers are staffed by the Journalism class taught by Lisa Kerestes.
