A great way to end the sewing class semester. Each of Kellee Granados’s sewing classes, she has a fun project. She sends monster coloring sheets for a nearby kindergarten class to color. Those coloring sheets come back to the high schoolers in sewing, and they begin to create a felt monster that resembles what the kindergartener colored or drew. The best part is that the kids have no idea that something they created will be made into a little felt plushie for them to keep.
“This is my absolute favorite project in sewing. I love working with my classes to make these felt monsters and surprise the kids,” Granados said.
