Hungry for some pizza? Look no further than the Senior Breakfast! The Senior Breakfast is where all the seniors come in the morning to get their yearbooks, eat some food and collect their tennis ball projects. The breakfast consisted of breakfast pizza, doughnuts and fruit. The tennis ball projects were projects the students from teacher Mark Cartwright’s Honor’s English 1, in which they wrote a letter to their future selves. The tennis balls had to be integrated into a work of art, of which examples include: a spotlight, a campfire, a volleyball, Spider-man and a soccer ball going into a net. All projects were very imaginative and intricate. There was also a raffle at the senior breakfast that was sponsored by local businesses. Seniors gathered to sign each other’s yearbooks and have a good time with each other one last time before the school year ends. “I had a good time talking with my friends,” senior Ray Garcia said. “It was nice winning a prize as well.” Garcia won the $10 Bianchi’s gift card, which he was happy to have.
